Description
In this paper, the authors report on some efforts that were undertaken to make Josephson contacts on the basis of the above mentioned classical high-Tc materials. After dealing with basic technological issues the fabrication and properties of tunnel junctions made of NbN and also with Nb3Ge as base electrode described, followed by the presentation of a theoretical model for the phase slip behavior of the microbridges. This paper deals with devices made of the classical high-Tc materials, and the concluding with first efforts to fabricate SQUIDs that work in liquid nitrogen using the new ceramic superconductors
