An ultrasonic thermometer using a resonant sensor
Description
An ultrasonic thermometer previously described has been further developed, simplifying the acoustic probe and improving the electronics and automatic control. Further work on probe materials has been carried out and the advantages of ceramic materials, in particular sapphire, over the refractory metals have been quantified
