Description
A series of new barium niobium fluoride oxide glasses has been prepares from batches containing MnNbOF5·4H2O and BaF2. It was ascertained by IR spectroscopy that the glasses are structurally built from NbO3F3 and NbO2F4 polyhedra. Manganese cations form their own polyhedra in the glass and, therefor, act as the second glass-former

При использовании в качестве компонентов шихты соединений MnNbOF5·4H2O и BaF2 получена серия новых барийоксофторниобатных стекол. Методами ИК-спектроскопии установлено, что структуры полученных стекол построены из полиэдров NbO3F3 и NbO2F4.
