A study on the activative sintering of the tungsten powder compacts
Description
The activated sintering behavior of tungsten powder compacts by adding small amount of nickel was investigated. As usual the small amount of nickel or cobalt was added to tungsten powder as activator by solution and reduction method. The mixture was compacted into disc under various compaction pressure and then the compacts were sintered at selected temperatures between 1100degC and 1400degC. (Author)
