Description
A solvent extraction procedure based on the use of Cyanex-923/xylene/4 M HNO3 has been developed for quantitative extraction of Pu followed by ICP-AES analysis of aqueous phase containing seventeen trace metallics including four rare earths specified for Pu-based nuclear fuels. (author)
