Angular distribution of L X-ray emission from tungsten following photoionization
Description
The angular distribution of L X-rays of W target induced by 0–20 keV bremsstrahlung has been measured at different angles varying from 100° to 260° at intervals of 10°. The measured relative intensities of Lα and Lβ2 X-rays are found to be anisotropic with thorough analysis. It is worth mentioning that the Lβ1 and Lβ2 lines are distinguished in Lβ line, so that the angular dependence of Lβ2 line is clarified comparing with previous investigations (Demir et al., 2003; Özdemir et al., 2011). - Highlights: • The angular distribution of X-ray emission is studied by 0–20 keV bremsstrahlung. • The absolute intensities of W-Lβ1 and Lβ2 lines are distinguished from Lβ lines. • The angular dependence of W-Lβ2 line is clarifying comparing with previous investigations
