Quantitative estimate of the oxygen percentage in the vapor phase in boiling reactors
Creators
Description
By considering the radiative oxygen yield, the author presents an expression that estimates the oxygen concentration in the steam of boiling reactors. Theoretical and experimental data on oxygen concentration in the vapor are presented and are in agreement with the oxygen concentrations in the steam calculated by the author's aforementioned expression, showing that the proposed method is correct. The amount of oxygen evolving in water radiolysis is proportional to the energy absorbed by the water
