Experimental study on a source of thermal atomic hydrogen

Creators

  • 1. Kyoto Univ., Dept. of Nuclear Engineering, Kyoto (Japan)

Description

Energy and particle reflections of low velocity hydrogen atoms generated from a plasma discharge source were studied by time of flight method and hydrogen permeable probe. Hydrogen atoms were efficiently reflected when solid surfaces were covered with hydrogen. In this experiment, basic data were collected for the reflection of hydrogen atoms. It is clearly evidenced that hydrogen atoms could be transported through a pipe with a maze structure. (Y. Kazumata)
