Relativistic characteristics of cylindrical diodes with a radial electron flux

Description

Relativistic diodes with a radial electron flux and a cylindrical anode are used for injection into magnetic traps. Power models with variable parameters of power, which are generalization of the known laws ''3/2'' for relativistic range, are developed for cylindrical diodes. These models permit to calculate direct and inverse cylindrical diodes in a wide range of voltages and they also identify fields of applicability of the laws ''3/2'' and found ultrarelativistic solutions
