Welding for plant construction and vessel manufacture
Description
The lectures presented at the meeting deal with the production of structural steels for plant construction and vessel manufacture, with heat flow control in the welding of low-alloy steels, and with practical examples. Special problems dealt with include the lining and coating of apparatus with plastics, welding work in steam turbines, plate heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and pressure pipelines. Quality assurance and quality testing methods for welded joints are topics of the last section. For seven papers of the meeting a separate subject analysis has been made for the database. (DG)

Die Vortraege befassen sich mit der Herstellung von Konstruktionsstaehlen fuer den Anlagen- und Behaelterbau, der Waermefuehrung beim Schweissen niedriglegierter Staehle sowie Anwendungsbeispielen. Hierzu sind insbesondere die Probleme beim Auskleiden und Beschichten von Apparaten mit Kunststoffen, Schweissungen an Dampfturbinen, Plattenwaermetauschern, Druckbehaeltern und Druckrohrleitungen betrachtet worden. Ein Augenmerk liegt auch auf der Qualitaetssicherung von Schweissnaehten und den zur Ueberpruefung herangezogenen Untersuchungsmethoden. 7 Beitraege sind getrennt in die Datenbasis aufgenommen.
