Secondary recovery of in-situ leaching about uranium deposits enhancement on CO2 + O2 in-situ leaching process

  • 1. Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy, CNNC, Beijing (China)

Description

The leaching mechanisms of carbon dioxide, oxygen and carbonate are analyzed, and theoretical and experimental enhancements of in situ leaching carried out by state equation of U (VI) alkali solution and a simulation device. The results shows that (1) The leaching can be improved by increase of oxygen concentration; (2) The pH value of mining solutions can decreased by addition of carbon dioxide; (3) The leaching can be improved by increase of bicarbonate concentration for the lower uranium content ores.
