Description
These two guides present elements to be aware of when projecting the development or realisation of an operation respectively based on the use of geothermal heat pumps on aquifer or on the use of heat pumps on a probe field. Each one proposes a synthetic presentation of a typical system, proposes an overview of these systems (general principles, components), discusses the choice of the exchange system (soil or aquifer) with respect to project characteristics and location, discusses the different types of usage and operation of the heat pump, reports the determination and optimisation of needs with respect to regulatory requirements, proposes an overview of the design process (general principles, selection of heat emitters, distribution among the building, emission regulation, energy assessment, dynamic thermal simulation of the building). It also discusses subsoil characteristics, the dimensioning of the installation, the implementation of the solution, the exploitation, follow-up and maintenance, gives an overview of the concerned regulation, indicates financial support mechanisms and incentive procedures, discusses economic and environmental aspects, and indicates appropriate fields of application
