Environmental specimens. Radioactive fallout in the Berlin region

Description

Following the Chernobylsk reactor accident, samples of rainwater, milk, milk powder, sand, and soil, as well as herbs, plants and fruits were examined in the region of Berlin for activities of the radionuclides I-131, Cs-134, Cs-137, K-40, Pu-239 and Sr-90. The results of these fallout measurements are presented in table form. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Im Berliner Raum wurden nach dem Reaktorunfall von Tschernobyl Regenwaser-, Milch-, Trockenmilch-, Sand- und Bodenproben sowie Kraeuter, Pflanzen und Fruechte auf Aktivitaeten der Radionuklide J-131, Cs-134, Cs-137, K-40, Pu-239 und Sr-90 untersucht. Die Ergebnisse dieser Fallout-Messungen sind tabellarisch aufgefuehrt. (DG)
