Eighteen years of evaluation of individual professional exposure to X-rays in Poland

The organization and results of measurements of individual doses received by persons working with X-rays in the years 1966-1983 in Poland are presented. It has been observed that the group of persons receiving doses below 0.1 of the annual limit amounted about 99.5% of all covered by the dosimetric control. Only sporadically the annual limit was exceeded due to inattention or lack of observation of the principles of work with ionizing radiation. (author)
