Dependence of the mechanism and cross section of α-particle emission from the 12C+64Ni reaction on incident energy
- 1. Institute of Modern Physics, Academia Sinica, Lanzhou
Description
Energy spectra and angular distributions of the particles emitted from the 12C+64Ni reaction at eight energies in the region of 36.5 MeV--69.4 MeV are measured. The angular distributions of α particles change from forward peaked, to peaked near the grazing angle with decreasing incident energy. This result shows that the emission mechanism of nonevaporation α particles is different in different energy regions
