Full system chemical decontamination of RAPS-2
Description
The chemical decontamination of unit-2 of Rajasthan Atomic Power Station (RAPS) was done using a chemical formulation of dilute solution of picolinic acid and reductant. This is the first attempt in India for full system decontamination and experience gained in this decontamination are useful in many ways for the future decontamination of Indian PHWRs.
