Relation of radio brightness variations of the Sun to magnetic field mounts and flocculi during the minimum of solar activity
Description
The radio emission of the Sun during the minimum of Solar activity (November 2-12, 1976) is considered. Connection of the radioemission regions with flocculae and magnetic mounts of weak field is established. The maximum value of the magnetic field did not exceed 20 Gs. The brightness temperature of these regions, averaged over the sources, is equal, in mean, to 490; 28O and 190 K at the wavelengths 3.5, 2.5 and 1.9 cm respectively. These values amount to 3.8%, 2.6% and 2.0% from radio emission of the quiet Sun. The increased radio emission is observed, as a rule, over the mounts of the magnetic field with opposite polarity and flocculi located over them. The brightness temperature of regions with increased radio emission at the considered wavelengths increases with the magnetic flux density and with the compactness of mounts with opposite polarity
