Analysis of discrete ambiguities for π N Δ and ρN Δ vertex functions using inclusive charge-exchange reactions

Description
We use the formalism of Feynman diagrams to describe the charge-exchange reactions (p,n), (n,p) and (3H e,t) on a free proton target taking into account spectator and decay modes in the π + ρ + g'-model. The type of interference between these modes depends on the set of vertex function parameters used. It is shown that discrete ambiguities exist for the πNΔ and ρNΔ vertex functions. These are partly resolved if charge-exchange data for a wide energy range is used. (orig.)
