HBK project high temperature reactor fuel cycle. Demonstration of the safe interim storage of HTR fuel elements in transport / storage containers made of nodular cast iron Compilation for the HBK-AK 5

Description

Automatic translation: As part of a joint project with DWK Hannover, two Prototype transport / storage casks for spent fuel elements from the AVR experimental nuclear power plant the interim storage concept proposed by DWK for spent HTR fuel elements on the KFA site, combined with a measurement program, will be demonstrated. The note describes the goal setting, philosophy as well as the given / selected boundary conditions for executing the program, which is then briefly outlined. A more detailed description of the measuring program facilities is given in the technical note IRW-TN-121/81.
