Changes in the Microwave Refractive Index Caused by the Giant Magnetoresistive Effect
- 1. Mikheev Institute of Metal Physics, Ural Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences (Russian Federation)
Description
Studies of the interaction of electromagnetic microwaves with [Co88Fe12/Cu]n nanostructures, in which the giant magnetoresistive effect (GMR) is observed, have been carried out. The GMR effect was found to contribute to changes in the microwave complex refraction coefficient, including the refractive index.
