On the hole character of LiF TLD-100 peak IV

Description

This communication presents new experimental evidence on the intrinsic character of the TLD (thermoluminescent dosimetry)-100 peak IV trap, which is not created by exposure to ionizing radiation. This intrinsic character, together with the confirmation of the absence of this peak from the UV transferred thermoluminescence glow curve, permits the identification of this peak as being produced by a hole trap.
