Reparative capacity and survivability. Theoretical and practical aspects

Description

The theoretical and practical base of the state-of-the-art of the reparative capacities of the cell and the body is being reviewed in a close connection with the probability of survival. The molecular mechanisms are revealed which accounts for the level of the reparative processes, the radioresistance and the viability of the cell. A survey is made of the topical problems for a purposeful intervention in the reparative processes and their importance for the medical practice and the radiobiology. (author)
