Delayed fracture of EhI607A alloy under complex thermomechanical loading

Description

Ehi607A alloy is experimentally studied for its delayed fracture under complex thermomechanical loading with and without instantaneous plastic deformations. Results of the study are presented. Under conditions when instantaneous plastic deformations are superimposed onto viscoplastic ones a mutual effect of damages corresponding to these two deformation processes is observed. A kinetic equation of the force-type damages is suggested which permits predicting a longevity of structural members under above conditions of complex loading
