0n approximate calculation of electromagnetic corrections to deep inelastic lN scattering

Description
In the peak approximation (PA) there have been obtained and investigated formulae for electromagnetic corrections (EC) of the lowest order to the continuum spectra in the deep inelastic scattering (DIS) of muons on nucleons There have been also obtained formulae for the D S cross sections with an account of soft multiphoton radiation. The formulae obtained unlike those available in literature do not depend on the non-physical parameter Δ and have an explisit covariant representation. Numerical EC calculations for the μp-DIS and Esub(μ)=50-250 GeV demonstrate that the technique proposed allows to accelerate the EC calculations many times with respect to those available elsewhere
