The yield of cold fusion products on the elastic energy absorption by metal deuterides

Description
A possible mechanism of nuclear synthesis reactions is discussed. The mechanism is realized on the excess of elastic energy in a metal-deuterium system and permits to explain the asymmetric product yield of the dd reaction in both channels. The conditions may be produced both by an external mechanical action on the system and in the process of metal deuterization due to an attendant effect of lattice deformation and elastic stress appearence. 14 refs., 1 fig
