A microscopic analysis of recent experiments on Gamov-Teller β-decay of even and odd Sn isotope nuclei near the new twice-magic 100Sn nucleus is conducted. Gamov-Teller transition renormalization mechanisms are investigated. 20 refs., 2 figs., 2 tabs
