Description
This contribution deals with the essential energy supply features in the European Union (EU) enlarged to 15 member states since the start of 1995. The different energy mixes in respect of power generation are described in detail. Finally, an outlook is given on the development of energy and power consumption within the EU until the year 2010. Der Verfasser erlaeutert die wesentlichen Merkmale der Energieversorgung in der seit Jahresbeginn 1995 auf 15 Mitgliedstaaten vergroesserten Europaeischen Union (EU) und stellt den unterschiedlichen Energiemix bei der Stromerzeugung dar. Zum Abschluss gibt der Verfasser einen Ausblick auf die Entwicklung des Energie- und Stromverbrauchs in der EU bis zum Jahr 2010. (orig.)Additional details
