Transition radiation in a wavequide

Description

The excitation of the wavequide by two charged particles traversing the wavequide perpendicularly to its axis along the parallel trajectories is considered. The expressions of radiation intensity for particles of different charges and different directions of motion are obtained as functions of the distance between particle trajectories. The conditions of the coherence of radiation are specified
