Sensitivity, resolution and contrast of film-screen combinations

Description
It has been claimed that one of the factors causing unnecessary exposure in diagnostic x-ray procedures is a variation attributable to sensitivity variations of film-screen combinations. The sensitivity of a number of combinations was measured under conditions simulating an abdominal radiograph. The film contrast for each combination and an indicator of resolution is also reported
