Our first experience with computer tomography in maxillofacial surgery

Description

The second generation Delta-Scan 50 FS 36 was used to examine patients with various diseases of the maxillofacial area. In 5 patients the contribution was demonstrated of CT to the diagnosis of these affections, as compared with classical X-ray pictures. It was found that CT will be valuable in particular in the oncology of soft tissues. (author)
