Relation between fluvial landform and uranium deposits
Description
Infiltration sandstone-type uranium deposits are mostly distributed near modern rivers and closely associated with wide-deep river valleys. This paper tries to trace back the material source of ore-hosting sandstone, discuss the effect of river to uranium mineralization, thus demonstrating the ore-controlling role of fluvial landform. It is suggested that the fluvial landform not only provides the material source of uranium deposit, but also controls the formation of interlayer oxidation zone
