Adiabatic model and destruction character of brittle and plastic materials
Description
In the framework of adiabatic model of quasimicroscopic destruction temperature dependences of ideal tensile and shear strengths of substances of different physicochemical nature were calculated by the self-consistent harmonic method. Physical criterion of transition from brittle character of destruction to the plastic one with the temperature increase was substantiated
