Before and after storm situations in the ionosphere and deca-meter radiowave propagation

Description

Experimental study was made on the growth of signal intensity from distant transmitters before and after ionospheric disturbances, related with magnetic bay. Data of three systems of radio routes of different directions and ranges were used. Geophysical data of the network of ionospheric stations, riometers, magnetometers and satellites were attracted. Numerical simulation of radiowave propagation was conducted. Its results correspond satisfactorily with experimental data. 12 refs., 3 figs
