Crystal chemical peculiarities of K+-conducting solid electrolytes on the base of rare earth silicates. Hydrothermal synthesis and crystal structure of K3YbSi3O8(OH)2 and K6Tm2Si6O18

Description
Results of hydrothermal synthesis and x-ray diffraction analysis of laminated crystals K3YbSi3O8(OH)2 (1) and skeleton crystals K6Tm2Si6O18 (2) and electrochemical data for K3HoSi3O8(OH)2 (3) crystals prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and K6Ho2Si6O18 (4) crystals prepared by solid-phase synthesis are presented. Silicates (1) and (2) have near parameters of crystal lattices: a=13.008, b=13505, c=5.843 A, sp. gr. Pnnma for (1), a=14.053, b=12955, c=5.864 A, sp. gr. Pm21n for (2). This fact is bound with alike structure of [M2X5]∞ layers. These layers consist of alike four-membered fragments: YbO6 (TmO6) octahedrons, SiO4- tetrahedrons forming triorthohydrogroups Si3O8(OH)2 (1) or [Si3O9]-brackets (2) and in this case bridge oxygen atoms occupy all vertexes of LnO6 octahedrons and provide the bond of Si-O-Ln type

Приведены результаты гидротермального синтеза и рентгеноструктурного исследования кристаллов K3YbSi3O8(OH)2 (1) и K6Tm2Si6O18 (2), а также электрохимические данные для кристаллов K3HoSi3O8(OH)2 (3), полученные гидротермальным синтезом, и для полученного твердофазным синтезом K6Ho2Si6O18 (4). Силикаты (1) и (2) имеют близкие параметры ячеек: a=13.008, b=13505, c=5.843 A, пр. гр. Pnnma для (1), a=14.053, b=12955, c=5.864 A, пр. гр. Pm21n для (2). Это связано с одинаковым строением слоев [M2X5]∞. Слои состоят из одинаковых четырехчленных фрагментов: октаэдров YbO6 (TmO6) и SiO4-тетраэдров, образующих триортогидрогруппы Si3O8(OH)2 (1) или [Si3O9]-скобки (2), при этом все вершины октаэдров LnO6 занимают мостиковые атомы кислорода, обеспечивающие связь типа Si-O-LnAdditional details
