Specific heat of thorium monocarbide from 2 to 300K
Description
The specific heat of ThC has been measured in the range 1.5-300 K. From the results, we have calculated the thermodynamic functions at 298.15 K, the Debye and Einstein temperatures linked with the acoustic and optical branches, respectively, of the lattice vibrations, and the coefficient (γ=2.12mJ/mol.K2) of electronic specific heat.
