FTIR spectroscopy of UF6 in supersonic nozzle
- 1. Institute of Physical and Chemical Research, Wako, Saitama (Japan)
Description
We have succeeded in measuring the FTIR spectra of the UF6 clusters in a supersonic nozzle. With the increase in the pressure of UF6 and the decrease in the temperature, the intensity of the cluster peaks increased and the shape changed from a relatively sharp redshifted peak to a broad peak ranged from 590 cm-1 to 650 cm-1.
