Study of reactivity of fluidized bed nuclear reactor
Description
The reactor physics calculations of a 19 module Fluidized Bed Nuclear Reactor using Leopard and Odog codes are performed. The behaviour of the reactor was studied by calculating the reactivity of the reactor as a function of the parameters governing the operational and accidental conditions of the reactor. The effects of temperature, pressure, and vapor generation in the core on the reactivity are calculated. Also the start up behaviour of the reactor is analyzed. For the purpose of the study of a prototype research reactor, the calculations on a one module reactor have been performed. (Author)

Foi realizado um calculo neutronico do Reator Nuclear a Leito Fluidizado com 19 modulos, atraves do emprego dos codigos nucleares Leopard e Odog. Foi estudado o comportamento do reator, calculando-se a reatividade em funcao de parametros em algumas situacoes operacionais e de acidente. Dentro destes estudos esta compreendida a analise do comportamento da reatividade quando ocorre variacao de temperatura, pressao e geracao de vapor no nucleo. Foi tambem realizado estudo da partida do reator. Com a finalidade de estudar o prototipo do reator de pesquisa, foi estudado o comportamento de um modulo. (Autor)Files
