Neutrino eye, a directional Cerenkov detector
Description
A directional Cherenkov in which the direction of the secondary electron from neutrino--electron elastic scattering is measured is described. The detector is a sphere filled with de-ionized water and with photomultipliers covering the inside surface. This type of detector would be useful for studying solar neutrinos and the collapsing star problem
