An approach to measure the spectra of primary protons, helium- and iron nuclei at the 'knee' energies at a high altitude
Creators
Description
We propose to build a simple detector array at a high altitude that records high energy electromagnetic components in air shower cores of the 'knee' energies. The Monte Carlo study shows that spectra of primary protons, helium- and iron nuclei at the 'knee' energy region can be obtained with a three years' exposure using this air shower core detector
