Electron temperature measurement according to the ratio of the intensities of spectral lines

Description
From the analysis of a measurememnt method it was concluded that for single-valued determination of the electron temperature in a low-temperature plasma at low pressures from measured ratios of spectral line intensities it is necessary that the condition [Esub(k1)-Esub(k2)](>=)kTsub(e) be fulfilled (Esub(k) is the excitation potential, Tsub(e) the electron temperature)
