Amalganmetallurgic preparation of niobium and tantalum

Description

Niobium and tantalum chlorides were reduced with alkali amalganes or with metallic zinc and the pure metals could be separated from other reaction products. Some physicochemical properties of niobium and tantalum and their amalgans are described. (P.W.)
