Hot cell facility and equipment for tests of the Hanford Radionuclide Removal process
Description
Bench-scale tests of ion exchange, precipitation, and other separation processes for removal of 137Cs, 90Sr, actinides, and various other radionuclides from the water-soluble portion of the Hanford Defense Wastes have been successfully completed. This paper describes the hot cell and associated equipment to be used in further scaled-up development and demonstration of the Hanford Radionuclide Removal process. 16 figures
