The importance of developing countries for a better climate
Description
The impact of developing countries on thee emission of greenhouse gases is large. Therefore, the contribution of developing countries to emission reduction is indispensable to realize the targets as agreed at the climate change conference in Kyoto, December 1997. This also is the result of four energy scenarios (reference scenario is IPCC-1995a), calculated by means of a special computer program, developed by KEMA. It is considered to be remarkable that in the Kyoto Protocol developing countries are not enforced to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
