Technology study on determination of Sr in environmental water samples using ICP-AES method

It is necessary to establish a rapid method for determination of Sr in order to accurately calculate chemical recovery in determination of 90Sr. Determination of Sr in environmental water samples by ICP-AES method was studied in the paper. In the optimum condition, detection limit of the method is 0.000 6 mg/ L, relative standard deviation is less than 3%, recoveries differ from 90.17% to 108.0%. The results show that the method can meet the need of determination of Sr in environmental water samples and apply to substract Sr background content in radiochemical analysis for 90Sr. (authors)
