Effect of heat generation distribution on radiative heat transfer of torus plasma

Description
Radiative heat transfer of torus plasma in a large helical device for the research of a fusion reactor is analyzed, in which plasma is approximated as a gray participating medium and a specular and diffuse surface is assumed for the vacuum chamber. A generalized numerical method: Radiation Element Method by Ray Emission Model, REM2 is used. Arbitrary thermal conditions can be specified for each radiation element in REM2. The Effect of heat generation distribution on nondimensional temperature distribution Φ of the modeled plasma and nondimensional surface heat flux Ψ of the vacuum chamber are demonstrated for the extinction coefficient β=10-2, 1, 10+2m-1.
