Description
As part of the National Technological Platform for Nuclear Fission energy R and D, CEIDEN has launched a taskforce called advanced Reactors Group (GRA). The purpose of this group is to explore short, medium and long-term nuclear fission energy technologies and initiatives. The GRA has identified five relevant areas: Generation III and Generation III+reactors; G-IV reactors, the IAEA INPRO initiative, reactor design for Transmutation, and a parallel activity-Simulation- that serves to support to support the rest. Projects of interest in each of these areas are currently being identified. Twenty-one Spanish entities take part in the GRA, with participation of Industry, Research Centers and Universities.
