Treatment of ovarian cancer

Description

After briefly reviewing the methods of treatment, in particular radiotherapy, of ovarian cancer, an account of 368 cases of ovarian cancers treated in the J.K. Cancer Institute, Kanpur, is given. Amongst 368 cases, 337 cases were subjected to either radiotherapy alone or combined treatment with radiotherapy and/or surgery and/or chemotherapy. Side-effects of radiotherapy and their management are described. (M.G.B.)
