On coherent neutral pion photoproduction from the deuteron

In earlier studies it has been shown that the cross sections for γd→dπ0 at fixed momentum transfers, computed in the impulse approximation using the amplitudes of Chew et al., taking into account deuteron wave functions obtained from realistic nucleon-nucleon potentials are in reasonable agreement with the Orsay experimental data. In this paper the authors report differential cross sections for γd→dπ0 with different realistic potentials and compare the same with the experimental data in the first pion-nucleon resonance region.
