AGATA, a dive in the extreme states of nuclear matter

Description
As a European collaboration project funded by twelve countries, the Advanced Gamma Tracking Array (AGATA) is a detector system to track gamma rays. The spectrometer is a 4π gamma-ray detector combining several Germanium detectors (Ge-detector), and is a major instrument to study nuclear structure ray tracking. This paper gives some details on the information delivered by gamma rays, such as the extreme degrees of freedom in angular momentum, mass and charge, etc. The potential of AGATA experiments is presented (such as hyper-deformation). Its technology and utilization in various european laboratories are commented
