Features of welding and heat treatment of O3Kh11N10M2T steel joints

Description

A study was made on features of welding of 03Kh11N10M2T maraging steel and conditions of heat treatment, providing welded joint full-strength were worked out. It was shown that during maraging steel welding chemical microheterogeneity, which isn't removed by standard heat treatment and causes low plasticity and impact strength of welded joints, developes. Reduction of this heterogeneity during welding using the activating flux and its following removing by double hardening at 1100 and 850 deg C enable to improve plasticity and viscosity of weld metal and heat effected zone after aging. It makes possible to produce welded joints full-strength with the basic metal
